I hate wearing ill-fitting clothing! It feels terrible and I won't subject my body to it. When I first started practicing intuitive eating years ago, I did gain weight and it wasn't easy for me. I thank God that I had a coach there to support me through it all because I'm not sure I would have gotten to the "other" side without it. Sure, I may not have gone back to dieting per say, but mental restriction is very insidious and what many are still doing even though they have no idea they're doing it! I'm convinced that continuing to pour into clothing leads to unconscious restricting. Take a financial load off by shopping at thrift stores and consignment shops. Great stuff at a fraction of the price. Remember, weight gain is a good sign! It means restrictive eating is no longer or lessening. This is healing!
