Cranky today but took a selfie anyway. It’s so hard not to scramble around trying to get myself out of the unstuck once I’m stuck. As a ‘fixer,’ my instinct is to figure out what’s missing or what’s in excess so I can add it or take it away. Practice, sleep, food, healthy communication habits, work/life balance, water, etc etc etc - my mind will constantly race through little checklists. But sometimes it’s nothing to add or take away. Sometimes you just have to sit. When I first started practicing, I wouldn’t even ‘om’ because I thought it was corny. Now I find myself sitting on a little hilltop, trying my best to sit & surrender, but really silently cursing at mercury 😜

I can’t believe 2 weeks flew by and #updownyogi4 is on its last day! We were given handstand and mountain pose. Both of which are hard for me. Handstands well that’s obvious, but why mountain pose? I just feel awkward doing it. It can be a hard one to stay focused in. I decided to add tippy toes because well when I did the handstand I forgot to flex my feet 🤣. The tippy toes made it even harder for me to stand in mountain though but easier for me to stay focused. It might have also been trying to balance the yoga wheel on my head to match the handstand 🤔.
